CKC talking

It makes me laugh bc on a weekly basis we get the comment 'wow...she sure does talk a lot' or 'her vocabulary is big' or 'she knows her words'... or something to that effect. Yep! We have a talker on our hands. She even talks in her sleep....

This video is from today when we were coming home from school. My favorite part is at the end. Nothing melts my heart than to hear her tell me she loves me=) Sweet moment. Love my girl!

height + ice + running

Last week, after realizing that I don't have to scoop down so low to pick up CKC, I measured her. She's almost 33"... yes... almost 3 ft. Yes... over half my body height. Next year, instead of me looking down to her... I will be looking up! If the saying is true about doubling the height at age 2... then CKC will be 6ft. WOW. Not even able to comprehend.....

LOVED being outside this weekend and we took full advantage of the wonderful weather! Scott came home today, so after church and nap- we headed to the Greenway. It was slamming crowded. People were parked a mile up the road... nuts.

Also, CKC literally ran/some walked 2 miles by herself. She didn't want to ride in her buggy today. She told me 'momma run!'...so off she went. Here are a couple (side ways..sorry!) videos. Personally, I think she gets her running form from Scott....thoughts? haha.

Peay Fun!

The Peay is off to a pretty good start=) On Sat we played Jax St...and won! CKC loves to 'shoot the ball' and show the Govs how to 'play defense.' Also, tradition holds thus far- after each game- she fist bumps all the Peay fans leaving. They love it... and she does too. It's something she started at the beginning of the season... and every game, she remembers to line up. Now she has the Peay fans trained=)

The pic of me and her... shows a false moment=) CKC sit down for more than 1 minute? Not a chance! She does love drinking out of momma's water bottle, though.

Part of our beloved Peay family! Charlie, Gaines, and Lynda have been wonderful to us, CKC, and the Peay Team. We are so blessed to have beautiful friendships with such precious people!
