This was Blake and I’s toy closet….we had to keep our toys orderly. Haha.
This sink was Grandmothers, in the laundry room… it’s still pink. The whole house was pink and green.
Dad was saying that the ceilings were made especially ‘tall’ in this house…and now look at our houses now…and people, really. We are all taller (well, excluding me….I’ still holding out for a growth spurt, of course!) Back in the day, ceilings were not this tall.
Hall lights! Dad’s responsibility was to turn the light off each morning before he did anything else.
This switch Papaw created to turn all lights on in the house at the same time…with one flip.
This is Dad in his bedroom. The original peg board is still up and his built-in desk…from when he used it.
