We have finally merged to the 'garmin' world! Below is our new toy. Pretty neat...and smart, I must say. For years, I have used my $10 wal-mart watch (water-proof, too!)..and it's gotten me through many many years of events. So, having this garmin....is over-whelming...in a practical, really-needed-it, handy, informative way!

Last Wed, Herm called and said she had an extra 101 Dalmations ticket to TPAC. If you haven't seen it...you MUST! I really could talked about the creativity, costumes, props, music, talent, excitement...for hours. Well worth every penny. Also, got to meet up with a few college buddies...so enjoyable! (Thanks, M's, for watching ckc!)

Scott's Suprise...last night
It was fun suprising Scott last night with a new truck. Precious moment! I've been so excited. While Scott was in practice, I had the truck (2010 F150 Lariet) parked near his office...under a big light. When he and others came out...there it was! I got a little on video. I think he is still stunned...he woke up this am and informed me that he didn't sleep at all because he was so excited. Love it!!

so far this month..
Dad was recently awarded the '2010 Andrew Jackson Award'...which is the highest honor a TN dealer can receive. ...based on a vote of his peers. Papaw Jenks was awarded in 1984!
Since Dad won this award, his name has been submitted as the TN nominee for the Time Magazine Quality Dealer of the Year in 2011. Papaw won it in 1984...
What an honor to work in the presence of greatness. Truly an honor to grow from the best!
Anyone interested/or know someone who is interested in starting a coffee shop/sandwich shop/ type place? The house across from Jenkins & Wynne is somewhat for sale...I was talking to the owner and she mentioned that she could envision a cute coffee-shop-type-place opening up. (Personally, i LOVE the idea! Right across the street from JW. What a convenient for all of us...plus our customers to grab a bite!) Spread the word....

Well, I don't necessaily hate Murray as that is my alma matter...(loved life while there!)...but I LOVE the Peay when it comes to OVC Basketball! So while I honked this morning...really...I was just expressing my spirit for the game tomorrow night=) Go Govs!

Happy New Year!
I've been wanting to rearrange our bedroom for a few weeks...what perfect time to try when the Scottester was was out town! (aka: logic was not present). So AS and I worked together as a perfect team and created the perfect game plan...except we got almost down and realized that the bed wasn't going to fit on the new designated wall=( Big bummer. So back to work we went! We rebuilt our bedroom...ahhhh...what a project!
Happy New Year! As normal, we spent it with the Midlick's=) We played a mean game of family fued... lots of laughter. CKC was a trooper for as long as she could make it.....and fell asleep at 8 (predicted). We also celebrated David's bday=)
