Chandler and her ‘tricks’

Guess what CKC is saying these days … literally…. if you want to hear a sweet little voice from Heaven- just listen to CKC:
Cheese- Kitty- Doggie- Momma- Shoes- Ball- baby (bebe)- Ducky- Fishy- No- All done (signs it)- More (signs it)- Thank you (working on the sign)- Bye Bye- Tooth
and her favorites: Uh Oh- Night Night- Dada (1st word I think)

Scott and I took her to the doc yesterday for her 15month appt. Success!
She weighs 23.3 lbs (57%) and is 31in long (69%)
She has 11 teeth. (loves to brush her teeth!)

Actions she likes to do:
Wave bye-bye. Kiss. Climb anything climbable or not. Peak-a-boo. Swim with her puddle jumper. Read, Drink from Mommas cup, etc…..and everyday is bringing more and more ‘activities.’

At the doc office we filled out a 15-18 month questionnaire… it was really quite interesting. We had to check ‘yes-sometimes-not yet’…on questions based on a variety of subject: Communication, Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Problem Solving, and Personal-Social. To my pleasant surprise, we checked ‘yes’ on most questions. The only one that Chandler hasn’t experience is being able to color.. so we checked ‘not yet.’ Who knew that a 15 month old should color? I asked Dr. S about it….Anyhoo, apparently from 15-18 months, you should introduce coloring/ painting to kids between 15-18 months. SO, we are excited for our newest Chandler adventure!

Ways CKC is like her daddy…without even teaching her a thing! To my amazement, these are things she just does on her own… I laugh out loud all the time…
-Holds tongue out while concentrating
-Rest chin in hand
-has to have feet uncovered when sleeping
-moves feet when sleeping...pretty consistently
-Shifts eyes from left to right….
- Rubs eyes with knuckle when sleepy
-raises eyebrows the same way
