so far this week...

Built Ford Tough! This is a vehicle we traded for over the weekend. It is a 1988 Ford Escort w/ 538,673 miles! Whew! I think this is the first 500k+ mileage vehicle that I've ever seen. What a beauty=)

For those of you that are interested in the brains behind the ball....this is where the magic happens...here is a behind the sceen glance of some of the basketball office. CKC is helping Daddy organize here...

Scott in the front part of the basketball office.

When you walk into Scott's office.

This was my view as I was getting on the I24. Christmas is here! Although we don't have a real tree, I love it when others do....it's just a good holiday traditional sceen. Too bad the tree had to rest on a Sienna=)

Last night we went to Christmas on the Cumberland (again) w/ the Cox Clan.

mixture!

this is a pic from our deck this morning. ice was everywhere!

isn't it odd that I ran yesterday morning in a tank top and shorts and sweat like crazy and then today I am in 3 layers + gloves + heavy socks and boots...and am freezing like crazy? Oh, the wonderful TN weather!

My little Turkey

This is how I found her this morning walking out of my closet... she loves my Crocs!

Last weekend, CKC and I went to IN to visit the Combs Family. We went to the Disney store and instead of playing w/ all the fun dolls, etc... she found the ball collection and went to town. This picture shows her trying to carry as many as possible.

Her and cousin Libby shopping!

the giggle box

who knew that (attempting) to juggle would be so funny?

last night

when you are married to the basketball career, you have to maximize time...whenever you have it together. so- we decorated for Christmas! Since the 'ball' is CKC's favorite toy, she wants everything to be a ball! Our tree, to CKC, is a ball heaven! I can tell that this is going to be an interesting Christmas as all the 'balls' we hung last night are fragile....especially when in the hands of a 1 and 1/2 yr old! She had fun helping hold the lights and ribbon etc. Even today, she has gone in there and proclaimed 'BALL!' and has squealed in delight.

As tradition has it, Scott played Christmas carols as we decorated the tree=) Festive. I have a huge urge to turn them on now (inside and out) but promised to wait until atleast next week.
can you see CKC gazing at the tree?
the final result

PS. technically, CKC is right. There are balls on the tree. This tree's theme is: hot pink, lime green, silver, and tons of little basketballs. So, again, when you are married to the basketball career, you get to decorate with it, too! Ha.

Today!

ckc has deemed this her cabnit.

She is really into playing peak-a-boo....w/ anything, including (patient) Molly.

Hugging (patient) Molly?

A few thoughts that passed through my mind today:
- I hear an ice-cream truck? Really? In the month of November? Wow…
- It is amazing what a haircut and a car wash can do for one’s attitude!

Fact:
Today CKC had her 18month appt. Very healthy! We have strayed away from medicine for the most part and have been trying to help her build up immunity…thus far, it has worked! Doc commented how healthy she has been thus far. Today we learned that she is in the 83% for height and 55% for weight...long and lean! Next year, she is going to out grow me height-wise!

Profound:
A new movie coming out has this slogan: ‘The fate of our country won’t be decided on the battlefield, it will be determined in the classroom.’ Profound. The only thing I’d add to this statement is to put ‘only’ in front of the words ‘be decided’ as we live freely because of the sacrifices of our brave Military (and their families!).

Fresh:
I turned the big 3-0 last week! One if the ways we celebrated was to eat in Nashville and watch a movie. So, we watched ‘Conviction’...and it was tremendous. A dark but inspiring movie. Glad to have experience it. But in leaving, we decided to watch another movie! At 10pm, we sat down to watch ‘Life as we know it.’ (We paid for both movies… Yep…$42! Ugh.) It was completely outside my box to watch 2 movies back-to-back, to pay to watch 2 movies back-to-back, and to stay up late late late. Had fun creating memories!
